Tyreek Hill hilariously pulls receipts on Jalen Ramsey after Miami Dolphins WR’s monster game in Week 1

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill had himself a monster game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

He racked up 215 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in a game the Dolphins won by a final score of 36-34. Additionally, Hill’s longest reception in the win was for a whopping 47 yards.

Hill hilariously pulled receipts on star cornerback and teammate Jalen Ramsey following the wide receiver’s fantastic performance against the Chargers in Week 1.

Hill’s comment is a reference to an exchange he had with Ramsey years ago when the cornerback suggested that Hill was merely a return specialist.

Hill, 29, was selected with the No. 165 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and has played for two teams — the Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs — across his eight seasons in the NFL.

He spent his first six seasons in the NFL with the Chiefs and won a Super Bowl with the franchise in 2020 before he was traded to Miami in the spring of 2022.

Hill is fresh off arguably the best season of his pro career in 2022. He finished last season with 1,710 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns in 17 appearances with Miami during the regular season (all starts). Additionally, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver averaged 100.6 receiving yards per game.

Those numbers were good enough for Hill to finish fourth in Offensive Player of the Year voting. Only Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ended up with more votes.

Meanwhile, Ramsey, 28, was selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after three seasons playing college football at Florida State University. He has played for two teams — the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars — during his time in the pros, as he hasn’t debuted for the Dolphins yet.

Ramsey accumulated 64 solo tackles and four interceptions in 17 games played with the Rams in the 2022 regular season (all starts). Furthermore, he forced two fumbles and recovered one.

It’s great to see that Hill and Ramsey can joke about their past. Here’s to hoping that the Dolphins can ride the momentum from their Week 1 win to a solid Week 2 performance against Mac Jones and the New England Patriots.
