The Week 9 matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs in Germany is going to have quite the crowd.

Tickets for the game went on sale at 12 p.m. local time on Tuesday, and over one million people were in the queue within two minutes, with the event selling out in 15 minutes.

The Chiefs-Dolphins matchup is one of two games that will be held in Germany during the 2023 season.

This should be an intriguing matchup between two AFC playoff teams from last season. One of the key storylines will be the Chiefs facing Miami star receiver Tyreek Hill, who began his career with the Chiefs and won a Super Bowl with the team.

Hill thrived in his first season in Miami, forming a dynamic duo on the outside with former first-round pick Jaylen Waddle.

Hill finished the 2022 season with 119 catches for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged over 100 yards per game even though the team had to play three different quarterbacks in the 2022 season (Tua Tagovailoa, Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson).

The Chiefs are the defending champions after they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in last season’s Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense are one of the toughest attacks to stop in the league, especially with tight end Travis Kelce.

While the Chiefs don’t have Hill anymore, they have attempted to replace him with a couple of speedy gadget players in Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore. Toney, a former first-round pick, came to Kansas City in a trade last season.

It will be interesting to see the atmosphere in Germany for this matchup, especially since fans seem really passionate to be able to watch these two teams.

The Dolphins are hoping that this is a matchup they can win to show that they are ready to compete in the AFC in Mike McDaniel’s second season as the team’s head coach.

Miami made the playoffs in the 2022 season, but Tagovailoa missed the team’s lone playoff game against the Buffalo Bills with a concussion.

If the Dolphins quarterback can stay healthy, the team is going to be tough to beat in the upcoming campaign.
