Jevon Holland shows major respect to Iowa’s Caitlin Clark amid her ridiculous March Madness run

March Madness is soon coming to an end, and arguably the biggest star in college sports right now is University of Iowa guard Caitlin Clark.

After posting a 41-point triple-double in the women’s Elite Eight, Clark put together another 41-point effort in the Final Four on Friday to get her team to the national title game. Following the game, Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland showed how impressed he was with Clark.

Clark was a monster in her team’s Final Four win over the University of South Carolina.

It was a masterful performance that allowed the Hawkeyes to defeat the previously undefeated Gamecocks. Clark and company will now face off against Louisiana State University in the championship game.

Clark is a junior at Iowa this season and figures to be a star in the WNBA down the line.

As for Holland, he’s in the midst of a pretty impressive career himself. Holland has started in 30 of the 33 NFL games that he’s played in thus far and was a full-time starter in his sophomore season in 2022.

In 17 games last season, he finished with two interceptions, seven passes defended, one forced fumble, 1.5 sacks and 96 combined tackles. He has not yet earned any notable personal accolades in the NFL, but it seems like he’s on track to become one of the best safeties in the league.

When it comes to the Dolphins, they seem well on their way to becoming one of the AFC’s best teams. There’s a lot of talent across the roster and on both sides of the ball. This offseason, the Dolphins have focused heavily on improving their defense, and Miami now boasts what is arguably one of the best defensive backfields in the league.

Along with Holland, the Dolphins have cornerbacks Xavien Howard and Jalen Ramsey on their roster. Those three are likely going to make life quite difficult for opposing quarterbacks and receivers.

If the team can build upon the success that it enjoyed last season and stay healthy, there figures to be no limit to what it can achieve.

As for Clark, fans can watch her Hawkeyes as they go for the women’s championship Sunday afternoon.
