Tom Brady responds to recent reports linking him to Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders

While the Miami Dolphins prepare for their playoff matchup against the Buffalo Bills, rumors connecting the team to Tom Brady are swirling.

Of course, the rumors have a lot to do with the uncertainty surrounding quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Though the young quarterback has had a fantastic season, he’s dealt with numerous head injuries.

At the moment, he is in the league’s concussion protocol, and the franchise has to be asking questions about whether or not it can depend on him for the long term.

Just a couple of days ago, a reported indicated that Brady joining the Dolphins in the 2023 NFL offseason is “definitely on the table.”

Now, Brady himself has responded to the recent rumors.

“I don’t know,” he said when asked what he’s made of the reports. “You guys gotta write something new every day, so just wake up and try to show up for my job.”

While the Dolphins prepare for their own playoff game, Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers are doing the very same thing. Though the Bucs struggled throughout the regular season and finished below .500 with an 8-9 record, they were good enough to win the NFC South. That division championship earned them an automatic playoff bid.

But they have their work cut out for them in the first round of the playoffs. They’ll host the 12-5 Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. The matchup is arguably the most interesting one in the first round of the playoff bracket.

As for the Dolphins, a win over the Buffalo Bills would be a pretty big shock to even their most confident supporters. The team is being forced to start its third-string quarterback, rookie Skylar Thompson, due to injuries to both Tagovailoa and backup Teddy Bridgewater.

Even beyond the quarterback position, the Dolphins are dealing with tons of injuries. Still, fans are happy the team has snapped its playoff drought and will surely be supporting the squad as long as its playoff push lives.

For the time being, offseason rumors won’t be the primary focus for Dolphins fans or Brady supporters. The playoffs are taking up most of the attention at the moment.

However, if both the Dolphins and Bucs end up losing in the first round, fans can be sure that the rumors linking the two sides will only become louder and more prevalent.
