Josh Allen speaks out on Miami Dolphins ahead of playoff matchup with Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen spoke about the Miami Dolphins prior to the two teams facing off in the playoffs.

Allen and the Bills picked up a win in Week 18, which was very emotional after the scary injury sustained by their teammate Damar Hamlin in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Allen is right that these two teams know each other well, as the Dolphins and Bills play each other twice every season because they are both in the AFC East.

Both games that the Dolphins played against the Bills this season came down to the wire. Miami won the first matchup at home, 21-19, even though Tua Tagovailoa was briefly removed from the game to be checked for a concussion.

The second time the two teams faced off, Buffalo took the win at home, 32-29, on Dec. 17.

The playoff game between the Bills and Dolphins will be played in Buffalo, so Miami will need to be ready to deal with a hostile Bills home crowd.

The Dolphins avoided an epic collapse to make the playoffs this season. The team had lost five straight games heading into its Week 18 matchup with the New York Jets.

Miami was able to get a win, 11-6, over New York despite quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Tagovailoa being banged up. Rookie Skylar Thompson did just enough for Miami to get the win in Week 18.

A win alone wasn’t enough for the Dolphins to get into the playoffs, as they needed Buffalo to handle business against the New England Patriots in Week 18 as well. Buffalo did just that, winning 35-23 to knock New England out of the postseason picture.

Now, Allen and the Bills will get a third look at the Dolphins.

Miami is hoping that one of Tagovailoa or Bridgewater will be able to play in the postseason, but the status of Tagovailoa is much more up in the air since he is dealing with his third concussion this season.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel did a good job navigating through various injuries to get this team to the postseason, but the Dolphins certainly would love to shock some people and upset Buffalo in the first round this coming weekend.
