Teddy Bridgewater advises kids not to be fooled by NFL players with ‘tough guy image’

The 2022 NFL season is quickly approaching, and players all over the league are posting on social media to express excitement for the football ahead.

One rather unique post recently came from Miami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Bridgewater took to Instagram to remind kids not to be fooled by the “tough guy image” that some of his NFL colleagues seem to project.

It’s certainly an interesting message, and it is important for young kids to remember that the NFL is primarily about entertainment. It seems Bridgewater wants to remind fans that not everything they see when it comes to the showmanship of the NFL should be replicated.

Primarily, it seems like Bridgewater’s message is meant for young football players who may feel the need to act tough to get into the NFL.

When it comes to Bridgewater’s career in the NFL, he’ll be playing for his fifth franchise in the 2022 season. Last season, he played for the Denver Broncos and started in 14 games. He went 7-7 in those games and finished the year with 285 completions for 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

He is seen as a serviceable quarterback in the league and one that has the potential to be a starter. In fact, Miami’s decision to acquire Bridgewater has left some fans wondering if he is something of a backup plan if Tua Tagovailoa’s season does not get off on the right foot.

That is certainly something to look out for once the season begins.
