Tyreek Hill fires back at Ryan Clark for saying WR was ‘lying’ about Tua Tagovailoa-Patrick Mahomes claim

Miami Dolphins newcomer Tyreek Hill recently made a fairly surprising statement when he claimed that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is more accurate than Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes.

Of course, Mahomes and Hill were teammates for several years on the Chiefs and made up one of the most potent air attacks in the NFL.

Hill has received a fair amount of backlash for his take, with the latest reaction coming from former NFL safety and current sports pundit Ryan Clark.

Hill, never one to back down from some healthy competition, was quick to respond to Clark on social media.

Up to this point in his career, Tagovailoa has not lived up to the expectations that led him to become the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, he hasn’t really been put in positions to succeed so far during his pro career.

In each of Tagovailoa’s first two seasons, the Dolphins arguably lacked even an average level of talent on the offensive side of the ball. Over both seasons, the offensive line struggled to protect Tagovailoa consistently, and skill position players didn’t impress much either.

This offseason, the Dolphins have made a clear point to address those concerns. Talent has been added to the offensive line, running back room and receiver rotation.

While Hill is a shiny new piece for the Dolphins this offseason, all of the other additions to the offense are sure to help Tagovailoa as well.

Once the season starts, it will be up to the young passer to prove that he has been deserving of all of Hill’s effusive praise.
