It’s no secret that Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has a lot of skeptics.

Many people feel that he doesn’t have what it takes to become an elite quarterback at the NFL level. One of the most common knocks on Tagovailoa is the idea that he lacks arm strength.

The youngster would certainly love to prove that notion wrong in the upcoming season, and if Xavien Howard’s words are any indication, it sounds like that might be in the cards.

Howard isn’t the only one who seemingly believes in Tagovailoa’s arm strength. Some other folks around the NFL world also feel that the quarterback is going to take a step forward in that department in the 2022 season.

Tagovailoa is going to have some lethal weapons at his disposal in the upcoming campaign, including Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The Dolphins are hoping that Tagovailoa will be able to take advantage of all of the speed Miami’s receivers will bring to the table.

Under new head coach Mike McDaniel, Miami is looking to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 campaign. The Dolphins have had two straight winning seasons but haven’t been able to crack the playoffs.

It’s certainly going to be a pivotal year for Tagovailoa, who needs to prove to the organization that he has what it takes to be the long-term answer at the quarterback position. He showed flashes of exciting potential during the 2021 campaign, but Dolphins fans are looking for him to put it all together over the course of a full season.
