Andy Reid claims Chiefs offense won’t be ‘significantly different’ without Tyreek Hill

The Miami Dolphins made major waves earlier this offseason when they completed a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Despite the loss of Hill, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid doesn’t seem all that worried about what kind of state his offense will be in by the time the 2022 season rolls around.

“I don’t think it’ll be significantly different,” Reid said.

Reid’s message is probably a combination of confidence and simply looking on the bright side of things. There’s no doubt that losing a player of Hill’s stature can negatively impact any team.

After all, the superstar went for 111 receptions, 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns last season. However, the Chiefs do have one thing that very few other organizations in the league are lucky enough to have: a truly elite quarterback.

If there is one quarterback who’s capable of overcoming the loss of Hill, it might just be Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes. He’ll likely find a way to make up for Hill’s lost production.

As for the Dolphins, they are sure to benefit greatly from Hill’s presence on the team. He gives quarterback Tua Tagovailoa one of the most dangerous weapons in the NFL currently. Hill will also surely teach young receiver Jaylen Waddle a thing or two about dominating NFL defenders.

With those two weapons, the Dolphins are projected to have one of the most electric receiving duos in the NFL. It’ll be Tagovailoa’s job to get the ball in those players’ hands.
