The Miami Dolphins continued a busy Monday by agreeing to a two-year contract with running back Chase Edmonds.

The 25-year-old Edmonds has spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals after being taken by them in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. With the Dolphins, he’ll look to take a leap in his career.

Edmonds had his best season yet in 2021, gaining 592 yards on the ground and scoring a pair of touchdowns. He also figures to be a passing option for Tua Tagovailoa. He had 128 receptions and five receiving touchdowns during his time in a Cardinals uniform.

The Dolphins’ running game gets a huge boost with this news. With any luck, Edmonds will help Miami reach the playoffs next season.
