McDaniel has been with the 49ers since 2017, but he has only been the team’s offensive coordinator since January of 2021.
The 49ers were one of the best offenses in all of football this season, registering 375.7 yards of total offense per game. San Francisco also scored 25.1 points per game.
As for the Dolphins, they struggled on offense this season, registering only 307.0 yards of total offense and 20.1 points per game.
It will be interesting to see if the 49ers end up granting the Dolphins’ request to interview McDaniel.
