Report: Miami Dolphins agree to trade Jakeem Grant to Chicago Bears
- Updated: October 5, 2021

According to a report, the Miami Dolphins have made a small splash.
Wide receiver Jakeem Grant is reportedly on his way to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round draft pick.

Grant had gotten off to a sluggish start in 2021 with the Dolphins. Over four games with Miami this season, he had just two receptions.
The 28-year-old, who also took care of kick and punt returns for Miami, was having ball security issues this season. His woes in that department may have been a factor in this trade.
Grant was always a little inconsistent during his time with the Dolphins. A fresh start somewhere new is probably the best thing for his career.
The Dolphins are 1-3 on the season and can’t afford to lose many more games if they want to challenge for a playoff bid. Things won’t get any easier from here, as Miami is set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5.
