According to a report, Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin has tested positive for COVID-19.
#Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin tested positive for COVID-19, source said. He’s fully vaccinated, so there’s a chance he can test out of protocols and be back for next week’s game against the #Jets.

This is certainly not what the Dolphins need right now, as they need all hands on deck for their playoff push.
Fortunately, the team does not have a game this weekend. Given the fortunate timing of Miami’s bye week and the fact that Gaskin is fully vaccinated, it sounds like there’s a chance he could “test out of protocols” and return to action without missing a game.
Over 13 games this season, Gaskin has racked up 526 yards and three touchdowns on 154 carries. He’s in his third season at the NFL level.
The Dolphins are 6-7 on the season and are trying to shock the NFL world by securing a playoff bid.
