Brian Flores offers promising update regarding Miami Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker

It sounds like some help might be on the way for the Miami Dolphins in the form of DeVante Parker.

According to Brian Flores, Parker will practice this week. That’s clearly a major step in the right direction as he attempts to return to game action.

It remains to be seen if Parker will be able to play against the New York Giants on Sunday, but the Dolphins are definitely hoping that he’ll be good to go.

Parker has appeared in just five games in the 2021 campaign. He hasn’t seen the field since Week 8. He has racked up 25 receptions for 327 yards and a touchdown this season.

It has certainly been a frustrating year for him, as he has missed more than half of Miami’s games. Fortunately, it’s not too late for him to return and make an impact.

The Dolphins are making things more interesting with each passing week as they look to get back in the playoff mix.

Currently, Miami is 5-7 on the season. Considering who the Dolphins are facing in upcoming weeks, it seems like the team has a real chance to get to 7-7 on the campaign. After hosting the Giants this coming weekend, Miami has its bye week. The team will then face the lowly New York Jets in another home game.

Making the playoffs might still seem like a tall task for the Dolphins, but it looks a lot likelier today than it did several weeks ago. The squad is refusing to throw in the towel.
