With the Miami Dolphins reportedly deeply involved in the sweepstakes for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, the future of Tua Tagovailoa is somewhat of a mystery right now.
The second-year quarterback was recently asked whether or not he feels wanted by the Dolphins organization, and he provided a very interesting response.
Only time will tell how much longer the former first-round pick finds himself in a Dolphins uniform.
Tagovailoa has looked sharp in recent weeks. Over his last two games, he has completed 74.7 percent of his passes for 620 yards and six touchdowns.
Unfortunately, the Dolphins’ 2021 campaign has not gone as hoped. Miami is 1-6 on the season and will likely find itself on the outside looking in when the playoffs roll around.
Tagovailoa is surely hoping to get additional opportunities to prove to the Dolphins that he’s worthy of being their franchise quarterback. If the team doesn’t complete a deal for Watson, it seems like Tagovailoa will probably have at least the remainder of the season to prove his worth.
