Tua Tagovailoa’s trainer recently took to Twitter and blasted the Miami Dolphins, saying that the “team is bad” and Tagovailoa “deserves better.”
Tagovailoa has been sidelined for several weeks with a rib injury that he suffered in Week 2. However, he is reportedly on track to return in Week 6.
In Tagovailoa’s absence, the Dolphins have struggled greatly. The team hasn’t won a game since the 23-year-old suffered his injury. At 1-4, Miami is in danger of becoming irrelevant in the playoff race already this season.
Tagovailoa will certainly hope to turn things around upon his return, but it sounds like his trainer believes that the former first-round pick won’t get the credit he deserves even if he helps the team get back in the win column.
If nothing else, the remainder of the season will give fans a chance to evaluate Tagovailoa. His future with the organization could be determined by how he plays for the rest of the year.
