According to a report, the Miami Dolphins will likely be placing a key player on injured reserve.

Offensive lineman Michael Deiter is going on the shelf for a little while.

Deiter’s injury is a tough blow for the Dolphins. He’s guaranteed to miss at least three games.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores explained that Deiter’s rehab process will determine whether or not he will return this season.

Miami’s offensive line has struggled this season, and losing a key player like Deiter doesn’t make things any easier.

Flores offered some insight into how the team will replace the 25-year-old.

Miami’s offensive line unit will have to find a way to move forward despite the setback. At 1-2, the team can’t afford to lose many games while Deiter is out.
