Sunday was a rough day for Tua Tagovailoa, as his Miami Dolphins were routed by the Buffalo Bills 35-0.

The quarterback suffered a rib injury during the contest, but he still wants to play in the team’s next game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

X-ray results apparently found no major issues with Tagovailoa’s ribs.

Tagovailoa is now in his second season, and many around the Dolphins have been expecting him to take the next step and become a Pro Bowl-caliber quarterback.

So far, the results have been mixed.

He showed some promise in Miami’s Week 1 win over the New England Patriots. However, he has an anemic 74.0 passer rating through the first two games of the 2021 season.

Some, including a former Dolphins executive, feel that Tagovailoa is one of the NFL’s worst starting quarterbacks.

With a record of 1-1 and a somewhat manageable schedule, the Dolphins’ playoff hopes are still very much alive.
