The Miami Dolphins are going to be without a key player for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Wide receiver Will Fuller is reportedly going to miss the game due to a personal issue.
Head coach Brian Flores opted not to say whether Fuller will return this season.
Fuller missed practice on Thursday for the same reason.
He also missed the Dolphins’ Week 1 game against the New England Patriots due to a suspension that carried over from the 2020 campaign. Fans were hoping to see the former first-round pick on the field in Week 2.
Unfortunately, it sounds like that’s not in the cards.
If Fuller were to miss an extended period of time due to his situation, the Dolphins would certainly be without one of their better receivers. In the 2020 season, Fuller reeled in 53 catches for 879 yards and eight touchdowns over 11 games.
Fuller’s personal matter is more important than anything, though, and he’s surely going to prioritize that over football.
