Ndamukong Suh explains how he learned to be better person due to failed stint with Miami Dolphins

NFL star Ndamukong Suh took to Twitter recently to explain why his tenure with the Miami Dolphins didn’t work out.

In 2015, Suh signed a massive six-year contract with the Dolphins. However, he would only remain on the team for three years before the two sides parted ways.

Though Suh has been known as something of a villain during his NFL career, he came off as a thoughtful and mature individual as he broke down what he learned about himself during his time with the team.

Suh specifically touched on how his blunt attitude and locker-room presence pushed teammates away and created a divide within the team.

He went on to explain how a coaching change altered his attitude. When Suh was no longer being heard in the way he once was, it caused him to become more self-aware and pay more attention to the way he interacted with others.

Suh seems very appreciative of the personal growth that he was able to accomplish as a result of his stint with the Dolphins.

The 34-year-old is coming off of a Super Bowl win with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The championship is the latest achievement in his decorated career. He is a five-time Pro Bowler and is often regarded as one of the better defensive players of his era.
