Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa appears set for a breakout season in 2021 after revealing that his hip is feeling much better than it did last year.
When the Dolphins drafted the Tagovailoa in the 2020 NFL Draft in the first round, they knew that they were taking a gamble, as the University of Alabama alum was coming off hip surgery.
During his college tenure, Tagovailoa showed potential that he could be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. He enjoyed incredible success and won a national title with the Crimson Tide.
Unfortunately, he got injured late in his final season at the school, which had an impact on his rookie season in the NFL. Working his way to full health, Tagovailoa made his debut appearance in Week 6 of the 2020 season.
He won six games and lost three as a starter, but struggled to show much big-play potential throughout the season.
With his injury well behind him, Tagovailoa is looking to bounce back stronger and help bring the Dolphins back to playoff contention.
