Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s documentary has been nominated for a Sports Emmy in the outstanding camera work — long form category.
The 42nd Sports Emmy Awards will take place in June of this year. Tagovailoa’s documentary could add some hardware to what has already been an impressive sports career.
It is a pretty sweet honor for the young quarterback off the field at such a young age.
Tagovailoa, 23, is getting ready to enter his second season in the NFL after making nine starts as a rookie.
The Dolphins were 6-3 in his nine starts and finished 10-6 on the season, but they missed the playoffs after losing to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.
Tagovailoa, the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, had a solid campaign, as he threw for 1,814 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions.
