The Miami Dolphins reportedly are planning to add a center in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Miami lost last year’s starting center Ted Karras in free agency, but it did sign Matt Skura as a potential replacement.
The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson explained who the Dolphins are looking to target in the upcoming draft.
“But the Dolphins have told people they plan to consider adding a center in the draft if the right one is available at the right spot,” Jackson wrote.
“Among the players we’re told the Dolphins like: Georgia center Trey Hill, who is Mel Kiper Jr.’s No. 7 center in this draft.”
The Dolphins would be wise to add another center even with Skura on the roster.
Last season, Skura was given just a 50.2 grade for his play by Pro Football Focus.
