While the dates for the Miami Dolphins’ 2021 schedule have yet to be announced, the team is whetting the appetite of fans by asking their opinions on the opponents they’ll be facing this season.
The 2020 edition of the Dolphins narrowly missed a spot in the postseason after they finished with a 10-6 record, a five-game improvement from the previous year.
During the 2021 campaign, the first under the NFL’s new 17-game schedule, the Dolphins will have nine home games and eight on the road.
Along with the Dolphins’ six divisional contests, the team will face five non-conference opponents that consist of the four teams that make up the NFC South, along with the New York Giants.
The final six matchups will be against six AFC non-divisional foes, with a road return to face the Las Vegas Raiders. In last year’s game, the Dolphins made a dramatic last-minute comeback to temporarily stay alive for the playoffs.
One of the 2021 home games that’s worthy of note is against the Houston Texans, a team that the Dolphins have made numerous trades with and one that has supplied some of the Dolphins’ free agent signings.
