The Miami Dolphins are reportedly expected to pursue former Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay and former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones in free agency.
Both Golladay and Jones were not given franchise tags by the deadline on Tuesday and are set to become unrestricted free agents on the market this offseason.
Golladay was limited to five games with the Lions in 2020 due to a hip injury after coming off back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 receiving yards. He’s tallied 3,068 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns since being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Jones also entered the league in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the top runners in the game, rushing for 3,364 yards and 37 touchdowns while also recording 1,057 receiving yards over the past four seasons with Green Bay.
Securing either of these former NFC North stars would certainly improve a Dolphins offense that finished No. 22 overall in the NFL with 339 yards per game last season.
