On the heels of a massive win against the New England Patriots, the Miami Dolphins announced that they released receiver Antonio Callaway on Monday.
Though the Dolphins have dealt with a number of key injuries to their receiver core, Callaway has still struggled to get on the field.
This season, the 23-year-old receiver has recorded just two receptions for 20 yards.
The last two seasons have marked major drop-offs in production for the University of Florida product since his first year in the league.
In his rookie year, he recorded 43 catches for 586 yards and five scores.
He hasn’t reached the end zone since then.
Hopefully, Callaway is able to find another home in the league to continue pursuing his NFL dreams.
