Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa played college football at the University of Alabama.
At Alabama, Tagovailoa was teammates with now Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts made his first start of his NFL career last week and helped the Eagles upset the New Orleans Saints.
Tagovailoa sent a message of support to Hurts and revealed that the two have talked recently.
Hurts left Alabama to play his final season at the University of Oklahoma last season.
While Tagovailoa was the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Hurts was taken by the Eagles in the second round.
Tagovailoa was expected to eventually start for Miami this season, but he has also helped it into the playoff picture.
As for Hurts, he replaced Carson Wentz as the starter and could win the job going forward if he continues to play well.
