Report: Key Arizona Cardinals players in jeopardy of missing matchup vs. Miami Dolphins

Two key members of the Arizona Cardinals, running back Kenyan Drake and cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, could be out of the lineup for their home game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Drake left the Cardinals’ Oct. 25 game against the Seattle Seahawks with the ankle injury, but was able to rest the ankle due to the Cardinals’ bye week.

Just one week prior to his injury, Drake offered an indication of just how dangerous he can be by rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-10 rout of the Dallas Cowboys.

Kirkpatrick has yet to miss a game for the Cardinals in 2020, but has had to deal with minor injuries after signing with the team during the offseason.

Those two absences could help the Dolphins spring an upset, with the team currently in the midst of a three-game winning streak.

Rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will get his first road start and is no doubt looking to expand his passing numbers from his starting debut last week.

Tagovailoa was 12 of 22 for just 93 yards, throwing one touchdown pass. However, the Dolphins came away with the 28-17 victory.
