The Miami Dolphins will be without running back Myles Gaskin for at least three weeks after it was announced that he would be placed on injured reserve.
Gaskin is dealing with a sprained MCL. The absence could seriously hamper the Dolphins’ chances of extending their current winning streak, especially because running back Matt Breida missed practice this week due to a hamstring injury.
While the Dolphins traded for DeAndre Washington prior to the trade deadline, he will not be able to suit up this weekend due to COVID-19 protocols.
That leaves Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird and Salvon Ahmed as the players most likely to handle the load this Sunday.
So far this season, Gaskin has rushed the ball 100 times for 387 yards and two touchdowns.
