With the Dolphins in the running to win the AFC East, the team appears to be securing backfield for a run at the playoffs.
Washington adds to the backfield in Miami which includes Myles Gaskin, Matt Brieda and Patrick Laird.
It is uncertain what kind of role Washington will play with the Dolphins, but the addition of the 27-year-old does give the team more depth at the running position moving forward.
