Report: Myles Gaskin expected to multiple games with sprained MCL

The Miami Dolphins were one of the busiest teams in the league ahead of the NFL trade deadline, and there was a good reason for one of the two moves made on Tuesday.

Apparently, the Dolphins will be without starting running back Myles Gaskin for at least the next three games as he deals with a knee injury.

Miami’s first move on Tuesday was trading wide receiver Isaiah Ford to the New England Patriots. Even though trading with a division rival was surprising enough, the Dolphins also traded for a running back.

The team acquired DeAndre Washington from the Kansas City Chiefs, which added to a crowded backfield. The move was unexpected but now makes more sense with Gaskin going down with an injury that’ll keep him out three games.

In seven games so far this season, Gaskin has rushed for 387 yards and two touchdowns on 100 carries. He also caught 30 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown.
