The Miami Dolphins picked up their first win of the 2020 NFL season, as they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-13 on Thursday night.

Veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick led the way for Miami in this one. He was extremely efficient, completing 18 of his 20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns.

Fitzpatrick also added seven carries for 38 additional yards and another score.

The veteran played arguably his best game of the season and afterward took some time to share how lucky he really is.

The 37-year-old isn’t wrong.

Fitzpatrick is playing in his 16th season in the NFL and is one of the more respected players in the league.

With the entire world faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, Fitzpatrick truly knows how lucky he is to play the game he loves.

Hopefully, the veteran quarterback can continue to pile up the wins for a rebuilding Miami team this season.
