The Miami Dolphins are well on their way to slimming down their roster for the regular season after releasing two players on Tuesday.
According to a report, the Dolphins have let go wide receivers Chester Rogers and Ricardo Louis.
The Dolphins signed both Louis and Rogers after receivers Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson announced that they would be opting out of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Overall, the news bodes very well for Mack Hollins, Isaiah Ford and Malcolm Perry. With the receiver group now substantially thinned out, it is quite possible that all three players make the team’s final roster.
Of course, the team expects DeVante Paker and Jakeem Grant to star in the top two receiver roles.
Hopefully, both Louis and Rogers find new teams to continue their NFL careers with.
