Tua Tagovailoa Purchases $1.65 Million Miami Mansion (Full Gallery Inside)

Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has purchased a $1.65 million mansion in suburban Davie, Fla.

Tagovailoa, the fifth overall pick in April’s NFL draft, had the money to purchase the estate after signing a four-year deal with the Dolphins worth $30.2 million.

Given the cost of the home, the residence will certainly allow Tagovailoa the opportunity to spread out on the 5,200-square-foot property, which has six bedrooms and 4.5 bedrooms.

Much like his years growing up in Hawaii, Tagovailoa will have the opportunity to enjoy year-round warm weather.

Exactly when Tagovailoa will take the reins of the Dolphins offense remains uncertain, though he’s definitely being groomed as the team’s quarterback of the future.

That status would keep him in South Florida for years to come, which would undoubtedly result in a much more lucrative contract down the road. If that happens, Tagovailoa may be looking for an upgrade on the real estate market.

The Dolphins’ first scheduled game of the 2020 season is set for Sept. 13 against the New England Patriots, with the likely starter at quarterback being either veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick or Tagovailoa.
