DeVante Parker Responds to Being Left Out of NFL’s Top 100 List

The NFL just released its annual ranking of the top 100 players in the league, and the Miami Dolphins did not have a single player on the list.

Wide receiver DeVante Parker responded to the slight on social media.

Parker, 27, had a relatively slow start to his career. He failed to reach 800 receiving yards in each of his first four seasons and had a noticeable lack of touchdown receptions.

Last season, however, Parker started to display the potential that the Dolphins envisioned when they selected him with the 14th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.

The Louisville, Ky. native notched 1,202 receiving yards, which was fifth in the league, and his nine touchdowns were tied with four other players for fourth in the NFL.

With the arrival of rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Parker’s key stats could improve even more this upcoming season.

His long wingspan, high vertical leap and ample speed have made him an attractive prospect ever since his days at the University of Louisville.
