The Miami Dolphins have employed some talented players over the last decade, but one star stands above the rest.

According to an ESPN list of all-decade NFL players, former Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake was the team’s top player of the 2010s. Wake was a member of the team from 2009 through 2018.

In his 10 seasons as a Dolphin, Wake amassed 92.5 sacks, 204 quarterback hits, 21 forced fumbles and was named to five Pro Bowls.

“Wake is the perfect representative because he was nationally underrated, but his consistent, impactful and emotional play made him a fan favorite,” the list read. “Wake totaled 92.5 sacks, 204 QB hits, 21 forced fumbles and five Pro Bowls over 10 seasons in Miami. Wake, who went undrafted out of Penn State in 2005, is one of the best free-agent finds in NFL history. The Dolphins signed him in 2009 after he won the CFL’s most outstanding defensive player award in 2007 and 2008, and he went on to establish himself one of the best pass-rushers of the decade.”

Wake also had five seasons with 10 or more sacks. He was named First-Team All-Pro in 2012, and earned Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2010, 2014 and 2016.

Former Dolphins safety Reshad Jones was named as the Dolphins’ honorable mention.

Jones played for Miami for the entirety of the decade (2010 to 2019), making two Pro Bowls and totaling 21 interceptions.

Former Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry and center Mike Pouncey were also named as honorable mentions.
