The second day of the NFL draft is nearly getting started, and reports of what the Miami Dolphins may do with today’s picks are already circulating.
According to one report, the Dolphins may be willing to trade out of their No. 39 overall selection.
On Thursday, the Dolphins addressed three major needs when they drafted quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 pick, tackle Austin Jackson at No. 18 and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene with the No. 30 overall pick.
Perhaps their hugely successful first round has made them more open to moving back in the second round.
With that being said, if the Dolphins decide to stand pat at No. 39, there are still several positions that they could look to address.
Most notably, the offensive line could still use some strengthening, as could the defensive edge and interior as well as the running back position.
As it stands, the Dolphins still have 12 picks left to make in this year’s draft.
Whatever the Dolphins end up doing with the No. 39 pick on Friday, one thing is certain: There are still many more talented youngsters that will be added to the Dolphins’ roster before the end of the draft.
