The shocking resignation of former Miami Dolphins offensive line coach Chris Foerster left the Dolphins in need of a new staff member. With their Week 6 matchup fast approaching, the Dolphins are wasting no time trying to fill the empty position.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team has already pegged Dave DeGuglielmo as Foerster’s likely replacement.
Last season, DeGuglielmo served as the Los Angeles Chargers assistant offensive line coach. He has also worked as the offensive line coach for the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and had a previous stint with the Dolphins from 2009 to 2011.
While no team plans on going through this kind of controversy during the season, it’s good to see that the Dolphins are already close to putting Foerster’s troubling incident behind them.
