Tua Tagovailoa on the Miami Dolphins’ 5th straight loss: ‘Right now it’s tough in the locker room’

The Miami Dolphins suffered their fifth straight defeat after losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars by three points on Sunday.

Tua Tagovailoa, who played for the first time since sustaining a rib injury in Week 2, somberly addressed the loss after the game.

Miami’s offense actually started hot against Jacksonville. It scored on its first drive after Tagovailoa connected on a touchdown pass to wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

However, the team failed to finish the game strong and allowed the Jaguars to come back and snap a 20-game losing streak.

Tagovailoa completed 33 of 47 passes for 329 yards. He did set up Waddle for two touchdowns in the match, but he also threw one interception.

The Dolphins had high hopes entering the season after a solid showing last year. Instead, at 1-5, they are just one loss away from matching their total from the 2020 season.

Only time will tell if Miami can turn things around. If it is unable to, then its playoff drought will unfortunately be extended once more.
