Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill continues to fuel the flame that he created on Sunday when he suggested that he is willing to play somewhere other than Miami next season.
The star wideout changed his profile picture on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to an image of his face on former NFL receiver Antonio Brownโs body. The photo of Brown is from when he removed his jersey and left a game early while playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 season.
Brown didnโt end up playing in the NFL again.

Following the Dolphinsโ Week 18 loss to the New York Jets, Hill made shocking comments about his future in Miami, insinuating that he wants to leave the franchise.
Eye-opening comments from Tyreek Hill on his Dolphins future after 8-9 non-playoff season:
โIโm opening the door. Iโm out bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day I got to do whatโs best for my career. Iโm too much of a competitor to be just out there.โ https://t.co/v6BQeRgVoO

Hill is under contract with the Dolphins through the 2026 season, but itโs possible that the star receiver will try to force a trade โ or his release โ to go to a team that he believes will give him a better chance to win.
The Dolphins failed to make the playoffs in the 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a 8-9 record. The Denver Broncos earned the final playoff spot in the AFC this season, but the Dolphins didnโt even do their part in Week 18 to compete for the No. 7 seed in the conference.
Miami needed a win and a Denver loss to make the playoffs on Sunday, but the Dolphins ended up losing to the Jets with quarterback Tyler Huntley playing for the injured Tua Tagovailoa.
Denver ended up winning against the Kansas City Chiefs anyway, but the loss put the Dolphins below .500 for a full season for the first time since Mike McDaniel took over as the franchiseโs head coach.
Hill has spent three seasons in Miami, making the playoffs two times. Yet, Miami hasnโt won a playoff game during his tenure.
This season, Hill took a massive step back after back-to-back seasons where he finished with over 1,700 receiving yards. In the 2024 campaign, Hill caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns, averaging just 56.4 receiving yards per game โ his lowest average since his rookie season.
The Dolphins certainly have a lot to think about this offseason, especially if Hill pressures the franchise to move on from him.
