Tyreek Hill clarifies cryptic social media post about Chiefs: ’I love trolling you nut cases’

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught the attention of many fans on social media on Wednesday after he shared a curious post regarding the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill, who started his career with the Chiefs, is now in his third season with the Dolphins. At 1-3, Miami is struggling this season while Kansas City is undefeated at 4-0.

On X, Hill seemingly teased the idea that he’s looking over his shoulder at the Chiefs while the Dolphins struggle, but moments later, he clarified that he was just having some fun.

Hill was traded to the Dolphins ahead of the 2022 season. Since then, he’s had to watch from a distance as the Chiefs have enjoyed major success, winning Super Bowl rings in the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Meanwhile, with the Dolphins, Hill has yet to enjoy even a playoff victory. Miami has made the playoffs in two straight seasons but is still searching for its first playoff win in over two decades.

Going into the 2024 campaign, the hope was that the Dolphins would put together a strong regular season and parlay it into some playoff success — finally. Unfortunately, the early signs are pointing in the wrong direction.

The Dolphins have lost three straight games after a 1-0 start, and they’ve looked lifeless in recent weeks. During the losing streak, Miami has been held to 12 points or less in each game.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, on the shelf due to his latest concussion which came during Week 2, won’t be eligible to return until Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. In Tagovailoa’s absence, Hill hasn’t exactly looked like himself.

Hill had a strong showing in Week 1 with Tagovailoa at quarterback all game long, catching seven passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. But since then, Hill has been held to 40 receiving yards or less in each game, and he hasn’t scored a touchdown.

The Dolphins (and Hill) desperately need to get back on track in Week 5 in their final game before their bye, especially since they’ll be facing a manageable opponent in the New England Patriots. Another loss to fall to 1-4 on the season would be a massive blow for Miami.
