Nine players are listed on the Miami Dolphins’ injury report with the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks — led by quarterback Geno Smith — less than 48 hours from commencing.
Running back Raheem Mostert (chest), wide receiver Grant DuBose (shoulder) and wide receiver Malik Washington (quadricep) are all listed as out or doubtful. In addition, tackle Terron Armstead (shoulder/knee), offensive lineman Liam Eichenburg (shoulder), offensive lineman Rob Jones (shoulder), linebacker Jaelan Phillips (Achilles), running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (oblique) and defensive tackle Calais Campbell (rest) are the rest of the players listed for the Dolphins.
Fans of the Dolphins may notice some different names on this week’s injury report compared to weeks past. DuBose suited up in each of Miami’s first two games of the 2024 regular season, and he finished with 13 receiving yards on one reception in the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills just over a week ago.
Wilson also saw the field in Miami’s Week 1 and 2 matchups. In the Dolphins’ season opener versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, he totaled 26 rushing yards on five carries, which averages out to 5.2 yards per carry.
One of Miami’s top defensive players is on the injury report, too, after he played against Jacksonville and Buffalo in Phillips. He has contributed one sack, two combined tackles, one assisted tackle, one tackle for loss and a quarterback hit so far in his fourth season in the NFL and with the Dolphins.
However, while there are some new additions to the Dolphins’ injury report, one can also find a name that has been listed on the report since the 2024 regular season kicked off. Washington — whom Miami selected with a sixth-round draft pick in the 2024 NFL draft — has yet to play in a regular-season game in the league.
The Dolphins will try to rebound from last week’s loss to the Bills when they take on Smith, DK Metcalf and company. If Miami were to come away with a victory, it would mark the Dolphins’ second win in their first three games of the new season.
It’s worth noting that Miami was 3-0 through three games played during the 2023 regular season, but the team also had a healthy Tua Tagovailoa.
