Jevon Holland seemingly calls out Dolphins teammate after Ravens loss to Chiefs

Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland appeared to call out teammate Blake Ferguson for negatively posting about the Baltimore Ravens following the Ravens’ playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Ferguson posted on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to share his displeasure with the Ravens. The post has since been deleted.

The Dolphins long snapper clearly did not like that the Ravens scored 56 points against Miami in their matchup in the regular season, especially since Dolphins star pass rusher Bradley Chubb was injured in the game.

Chubb was eventually ruled out for the season due to his knee injury.

While Ferguson seemed happy that Baltimore didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, Holland took to social media to call out anyone posting about a team that beat them this season.

He clarified that he only meant negative posts towards a team.

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, both the Ravens and Chiefs had their number this season.

Kansas City beat Miami in the regular season, and the team eventually knocked the Dolphins out in the first round of the playoffs with a 26-7 win in Kansas City.

While the Dolphins and Ravens only played in the regular season, Miami’s loss to Baltimore proved to be costly. Miami ended up losing the lead it had in the AFC East when it lost to the Buffalo Bills in the final week of the season.

Had Miami beaten Baltimore, Buffalo would not have been able to take the division crown since Miami would have had one more win on the season.

It’s certainly an unfortunate circumstance for the Dolphins, as the team has made the playoffs in each of the last two seasons only to lose in the first round both times.

Kansas City, who knocked off Miami, Buffalo and Baltimore, will now play in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

While it’s unclear if Holland was specifically referring to Ferguson, it’s clear that the Dolphins safety doesn’t want his teammates talking badly about another squad during the playoffs.

Hopefully, Miami can make a deep playoff run next season so it doesn’t have to root against teams once it is already eliminated.
