Legendary NFL quarterback Kurt Warner broke down how the Miami Dolphins and Tua Tagovailoa can fix their offense.

Warner knows a thing or two about what it takes to win at the highest level. He played for three teams — the St. Louis Rams, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals — during his time in the NFL and led the Rams to a Super Bowl victory over the Tennessee Titans back in the 1999 season.

His final season in the NFL came in the 2009 campaign, when he appeared in 15 games with the Cardinals during the regular season and two in the playoffs. He retired as a two-time MVP.

The Dolphins saw their 2023 season come to an end on Saturday after a loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 26-7. Miami trailed 16-7 at halftime and didn’t score a single point in the entire second half.

The team accumulated just 264 total yards in what was one of its worst offensive showings of the season.

Two of Miami’s top offensive players this season in Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill both had forgettable performances against the Chiefs.

The former threw for 199 yards and just one touchdown compared to one interception. Plus, Tagovailoa completed just 20 of his 39 passing attempts in the game. Meanwhile, Hill ended up with 62 receiving yards on five receptions to go along with one receiving touchdown.

Conversely, Mahomes finished with 262 passing yards and one passing touchdown for the Chiefs, and he didn’t throw a single interception.

Miami’s difficulty winning games on the road during the regular season came back to bite the team against the Chiefs. While the Dolphins were a dominant home team during the regular season — as evidenced by their 7-2 home record — Miami finished with just a 4-4 road record (including its game in Germany).

The Dolphins also lost their final road game of the 2023 regular season in embarrassing fashion. Miami fell to the Baltimore Ravens — who ended the season with the AFC’s top record — by 37 points, and the Dolphins allowed the Ravens to score a whopping 56 points.
