Tyreek Hill doesn’t think he’ll be able to play ‘Fortnite’ after hand injury suffered vs. Raiders

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill shared how he’s feeling after suffering a hand injury in the Dolphins’ win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Hill briefly exited the game for Miami, but he returned to finish the matchup.

Hill jokingly shared that he may not be able to play video games, but it doesn’t sound like the injury will keep him off the field in Week 12 against the New York Jets. The Dolphins have a short turnaround with their next game coming on Friday.

Despite the hand injury, Hill still had a great game for the Dolphins on Sunday. He caught a team-high 10 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Hill’s 11 targets led the team.

Jaylen Waddle (four catches, 55 yards) had eight targets for the Dolphins on Sunday. Miami would rely on Waddle and Cedrick Wilson Jr. if Hill had to miss time, but neither player has been as impactful as Hill has been this season.

Hill has been arguably the best receiver in the NFL so far this season. Through the first nine games of the season (before the matchup with Las Vegas), the Dolphins star had 69 catches for 1,076 yards and eight touchdowns. He entered this week leading the NFL in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

It’s great news for the Dolphins that Hill doesn’t seem to think the injury is serious, and it’s an even better sign he was able to return to the game and still be productive. There’s a chance Hill finds himself on the injury report this week, but it doesn’t seem like he’ll miss Friday’s game.

Miami moved to 7-3 on the season with the win, keeping the team in first place in the AFC East. The Dolphins still have their eye on the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but they’ll need to keep winning games to get there.

Miami is hoping to stay in the win column when it takes on the Jets on Friday. New York has struggled a bit on offense as of late, and the team plays the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. That’s good news for Miami, as it means one of the teams will lose as they are both in the AFC East division.
