The NFL world will get an inside look at the Miami Dolphins this season, as they’re set to be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”

The news has been met with excitement by many, but Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa isn’t so thrilled. He explained his feelings on Wednesday after being asked about the show coming to Miami.

“Hard Knocks” will certainly give fans an epic look at Miami’s 2023 campaign, but one can only hope that it won’t get in the way of Tagovailoa’s day-to-day routine. The same goes for any player on the Dolphins.

Tagovailoa’s squad features some very likable personalities and an exciting brand of football, factors that should make for good television. The Dolphins are 5-2 this season after a loss in Week 7 but will look to get back on track in Week 8 against the New England Patriots.

After the Week 8 clash, the Dolphins will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9, giving them a chance to make perhaps their biggest statement of the season so far. Miami will have its bye week after the game against Kansas City.

Dolphins fans have known Tagovailoa to be a relatively private person since he joined the organization, so his recent comments are no surprise. At the end of the day, folks in South Florida will be happy if the rising star simply keeps things moving in the right direction on the field.

The quarterback leads the NFL in completion percentage and passing yards this season and has done a phenomenal job of staying on the field after concussion woes threw a major wrench into his 2022 season.

As things currently stand, the Dolphins are the top team in the AFC East and hold a one-game lead over the Buffalo Bills. Miami is looking to win its first division title since the 2008 campaign and certainly appears to have a real chance of doing so this season.

Moreover, after making the playoffs last season, the Dolphins are looking to earn back-to-back bids for the first time in over two decades. Tagovailoa is hoping to get his first taste of the postseason after missing the action in last season’s playoffs.
