Tyreek Hill goes after Micah Parsons and Chris Jones after video of him sealing off edge emerges

The Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots on Sunday by a final score of 24-17 to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill had one sequence in the game where he did an excellent job sealing off the edge on a run from running back Raheem Mostert.

Hill took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday and vowed to seal off Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones with blocks in later matchups.

Jones has played eight seasons in the NFL (all as a member of the Chiefs), while Parsons has played three seasons in the NFL (all as a member of the Cowboys).

Hill was selected with the No. 165 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and has played for two teams — the Chiefs and Dolphins — across his eight seasons in the NFL.

He spent his first six seasons in the NFL with the Chiefs and won a Super Bowl with the team in 2020 before he was traded to the Dolphins in the spring of 2022.

The 5-foot-10 wide receiver is fresh off arguably the best season of his pro career in 2022. He totaled 1,710 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns in 17 games played with the Dolphins during the regular season (all starts). Also, Hill averaged an impressive 100.6 receiving yards per game.

Those numbers were good enough for the 29-year-old to earn a Pro Bowl nod — the seventh of his pro career — as well as finish fourth in the NFL AP Offensive Player of the Year voting. Only Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ended up with more votes.

Hill underperformed in Miami’s Wild Card game against the Bills, though, at least by his standards. He finished with 69 receiving yards on seven receptions in a game the Dolphins went on to lose by a final score of 34-31.

Hill and the Dolphins won’t be facing off against Parsons’ and Jones’ teams for a while. Miami will play the Chiefs in November and face off against the Cowboys on Christmas Eve.
