The 2022 NFL regular season is just weeks away, and players that have not impressed enough in training camp and preseason are starting to get cut.
On Tuesday morning, the Miami Dolphins announced a handful of cuts to start narrowing down their roster. The Dolphins also placed tight end Adam Shaheen on injured reserve, ending his season.

None of the moves are all that surprising, and there are many more cuts coming in the near future.
Though it is, of course, hard for the players that have been cut, they surely know that this is a necessary part of the process for teams across the league. Many will likely sign elsewhere in hopes of making an active roster or practice squad.
As for the Dolphins, they’ll return to business as usual as they prepare for their second preseason game on Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
