As the Miami Dolphins’ 2022 training camp gets underway, the team has also made its latest addition to the roster.
According to a Tuesday report, the Dolphins are signing veteran receiver Mohamed Sanu.
Sanu has been in the NFL since 2012. He was a third-round pick in that year’s draft.
Last season, he played with the San Francisco 49ers. It’s likely that his connection to new Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel played a large role in his decision to sign with Miami.
Over his career, he’s recorded 435 receptions for 4,871 yards and 27 touchdowns. Though his most productive days are likely behind him, he will surely serve as a nice veteran addition to Miami’s offense.
The addition is just another sign that the Dolphins are committed to putting an improved offensive unit on the field compared to those of recent seasons. It will be interesting to see if the team makes any more veteran additions to the roster in the weeks ahead.
