Armstead, who signed with the Dolphins this offseason after spending nine seasons with the New Orleans Saints, is widely regarded as one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL.
The biggest key for Armstead to make an impact with the Dolphins during his age-31 season will be his health. When healthy, Armstead is one of the better tackles in the NFL, but he was limited to just eight games due to injury last season. Armstead has appeared in 10 or fewer games in four of the past six seasons.
Despite that, he is a massive upgrade for a Dolphins team that is looking to put quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the best possible position to succeed in the 2022 season.
Armstead is a three-time Pro Bowler, and he should become a key part of any new schemes that Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel puts in place.
It’s good to see Armstead enjoying his time this offseason, and Dolphins fans are certainly hoping they’ll see more of his dance moves if Miami makes the playoffs in the 2022 season.
The Dolphins have narrowly missed the playoffs in two straight seasons.
With offseason additions like Armstead, Tyreek Hill and Chase Edmonds, the Dolphins have their best supporting cast on offense around Tagovailoa since he was drafted back in 2020.
Miami is hoping that Armstead’s age-31 season will turn out to be his best yet.
